Agentic Open Node — Chrome Extension

Agentic Open Node ("the Extension") is developed by Agentic Open ("we," "us," or "our"). The Extension allows users to voluntarily contribute idle computing resources to the Agentic Open decentralized AI agent network and earn reward points ("Atoms") in return. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your choices regarding your information.

By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.

1. Overview

The Extension serves a single purpose: to operate as a lightweight computing node in the Agentic Open network. It connects to our relay servers, receives computation tasks (such as price verification, protocol health checks, and data validation), executes them using your device's idle resources, and reports results back to the network. You are in full control of your contributions and can pause or disconnect at any time.

3. Device Fingerprint Disclosure

Prominent Disclosure: Agentic Open Node collects a hashed device fingerprint derived from your browser's Canvas, WebGL, and AudioContext rendering characteristics. This data is collected solely to verify device uniqueness and prevent fraudulent multi-node abuse (Sybil attacks). The fingerprint is immediately processed into an irreversible hash — raw rendering data is never stored or transmitted.

Canvas fingerprint: A small, invisible graphic is rendered and its pixel data is hashed. The image itself is discarded immediately.
WebGL fingerprint: GPU renderer and vendor strings are read and hashed.
AudioContext fingerprint: A brief, inaudible audio signal is processed and hashed.
Font fingerprint: Available system font metrics are measured and hashed.

The resulting hash is a one-way, irreversible string that cannot be used to reconstruct the original data.

4. Content Scripts

The Extension injects a minimal content script solely to collect the device fingerprint data described in Section 3. This script:

Does not read, access, or modify any page content, DOM, or text
Does not access cookies, session tokens, form data, or local storage
Does not monitor browsing activity, navigation, or URLs
Does not intercept or modify network requests
Runs once per page load, completes in under 100ms

5. How We Use Your Information

All collected data is used exclusively for the Extension's core functionality:

Device fingerprint hash — Verify device uniqueness, prevent Sybil attacks
Node ID — Route computation tasks, calculate rewards
Task metrics — Monitor resources, distribute tasks fairly
Idle state — Adjust CPU/memory (30% active, up to 100% idle)

We do not use data for: advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or any purpose unrelated to node operation.

6. Network Communication

The Extension maintains encrypted connections to:

wss://ws.agtopen.com — Secure WebSocket for task assignment
https://api.agtopen.com — HTTPS API for authentication

No data is transmitted to any other server. No remotely hosted code is executed.

7. Background Processing

The Extension uses a Manifest V3 service worker to: maintain WebSocket connection, send heartbeats (30s), receive and execute tasks, report results. Offscreen documents run heavy computations without impacting browser performance.

9. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your data to: advertising platforms, data brokers, analytics services, or any external company. Aggregated anonymous stats may be published. We may disclose information if required by law.

13. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Agentic Open Node's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

We only use data for the Extension's single stated purpose
We do not transfer data to third parties except as necessary for functionality
We do not use or transfer data for advertising
We do not use or transfer data for creditworthiness
Human review only for security investigations, legal compliance, or with consent

14. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact [email protected] if you believe a child has provided data.

15. International Data Transfers

Our servers may be located in different countries. By using the Extension, you consent to the transfer of limited data to servers outside your country, with appropriate safeguards in place.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted in the "Last updated" date, Extension update notes, and in-app notifications for significant changes.
